Cultural heritage refers to the physical artifacts and non-physical attributes of a group or a society that has been inherited from past generations. There are three main types of cultural heritage, namely cultural property, intangible culture and natural heritage. The cultural properties include the tangible cultural heritage such as buildings, monuments, books, works of art, machines and clothing, while the intangible culture includes folklore, traditions, social values, language, spiritual beliefs, etc. The landscapes, flora-fauna and biodiversity fall under natural heritage.
